Ballistic resistant glass consists of laminates, interlayed with polycarbonate materials
to prevent spalling. Different mixtures and thicknesses of laminates will provide
different levels of protection, covering anything from small-calibre rounds from
explosive devices, through to large-calibre armour piercing rounds and direct force
from explosive devices.
