Glass etching is a centuries old method of imprinting images on glass. Traditional
methods use corrosive materials which are environmentally damaging. The modern equivalent
is sand blasting. Sand blasting allows more variation with the use of different
sand coarseness and depth of blasting, giving the finished product a richer textured
appearance.
