To ensure your glass design matches decor perfectly, Tufwell provides a full range
of coloured glass. Colours used are normally from the RAL, Dulux and British Standard
ranges. Custom colours can also be provided.
Body tinted glass is available as a standard product. Although it is the more traditional
method of glass colouring it limits the range of colours available. Coated glass
offers a far wider range of colours. Once it is made, the glass is coated with polycarbonates,
film, paints or other materials. Once coated, colours can be baked on to become
a component of the glass, making it extrememly resistant to scratches and other
damage.
To give a better idea of the rich colours available in glass, the following is an
example of the RAL range. It is not an exhaustive sample as RAL has over 1,900 colours
and shades.
Due to differences between computer monitors these colours are representative. For
an exact colour reproduction and match it is essential customers refer to original
RAL cards.
